Casa Mora is located in Arrós de Cardós, in a beautiful village in the Cardós Valley (Pallars Sobirà). It is located within the Natural Park of the High Pyrenees, very close to the National Park of Aigüestortes and Lake of Sant Maurici. It is an ideal area to enjoy hiking on the trails of great and small route, which lead to the top of mountains of more than 3,000 meters, to wonderful lakes of glacial origin, and to the villages of the valleys and Romanesque bridges.
Some of the places of interest that you can visit near Casa Mora are: the Àreu Wood Museum, Sawmill and the Ferrera Mill of Vall Ferrera, and the Casa Gassia Ecomuseum in the Valls d’Àneu, for knowing the life and customs of the area; as well as the Museum of the butterflies of Ribera de Cardós. Guided visits are also made to the Tavascan underground hydroelectric plant.
